Starting from Dolby On Android v1.9, the procedure for setting up live streaming to Facebook has been changed. It shall be done via Custom RTMP option. Please follow the steps below:
Section 1: Get your Facebook Stream Key and RTMP Link
- Open a browser
- Visit facebook.com/live/producer.
- Log in to your Facebook account.

Tap “Go Live” button under the “Create live video” section.
- On the Create Live Video screen, choose “Streaming Software”.

Your Stream Key will be displayed. Copy and save it.
Example: StreamKey -FB2712672xxxxxxxxxxxx -
Tap Advanced Settings to view and copy the Server URL (RTMP Link).
Example: RTMP Link - rtmps://livexxxxxxxxxxxx.
Section 2: Stream to Facebook from Dolby On App
- Open the Dolby On App and go to the livestream screen.
- Tap Setup, then select Custom RTMP.
- Tap the Connecting button.
- Paste the RTMP Link and Stream Key from Facebook. Tap Done.
- Tap Go live button in Dolby On App to start the stream.

Once the stream starts from Dolby On, the “Go live” button in Facebook should be enabled. And Preview will be shown in the Video section. Now you can tap Go live to begin broadcasting.
