Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Access Your Tracks
- Open the Dolby On app
- Tap the Library icon at the bottom left to view all your recorded tracks
2. Select Multiple Tracks
- Tap the Select icon at the top left
- The screen will change to multi-select mode, showing Select All, Done, Delete, and Share options
- Select the tracks you want to export
3. Initiate Export
- Tap the Share icon
- A popup will appear asking "Choose export quality"
- Note (Android only): The popup will also display the recommended free space required for exporting. Ensure you have the recommended space available on your device for smoother exports.
- Select either Highest or Standard
- Note: The Highest option exports tracks in lossless quality if originally recorded with lossless enabled
- After a selection is made, export will begin automatically.
- iOS: An Export Complete popup will appear. Tap Continue to proceed.
- Android: See Android — Exporting in the Background below for export completion details.
- iOS: An Export Complete popup will appear. Tap Continue to proceed.
4. Save Your Exported Tracks
iOS — Save to Local Storage
- The system Share sheet will open.
- Select Save to Files.
- Browse your device's folders, choose a destination, then tap Save.
- Your selected tracks are now saved to your local storage.
Android — Exporting in the Background
- The Dolby On app can be killed or backgrounded during export — the export will still continue.
- Open the Notification Center to view the progress, including total tracks and exported track count.
- Once complete, an "All # Track(s) Exported!" notification will appear
- Note: Keep the app open for faster exports, but the app can still export in the background or when killed.
- Tap the notification or open the app — an Export Complete popup will appear. Tap Continue to proceed.
Android — Save to Local Storage Using Dolby On Save to Files
- The system Share sheet will open
- Select Dolby On Save to Files.
- Once selected, saving will begin and progress will be tracked in the Notification Center. Once completed, a notification will appear confirming the save is complete.
- Your selected tracks are now saved to your local storage.
Tip: You can also share to other apps like Mail, WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, or use any other file manager apps - just pick the desired option from the Share sheet.
