Getting started with Dolby On

Initial Setup:

  1. Install & First Launch:
    • Install the app: Download Dolby On from the Google Play Store or the App Store.
    • Open the app: An onboarding screen with a demo video appears. Tap Skip to jump right in.
    • Notifications: Allow notifications when prompted.

 Your First Audio Recording

  1. From the main screen, tap the Audio Record
  2. Allow microphone access when prompted (first time only).
  3. Tap the record button to start recording.
  4. Tap Stop when you're finished.

Your recording is saved automatically in two places:

  1. Recently recorded: above the record button.
  2. Library: tap the Library icon (bottom left) to see all your recordings.

Your First Video Recording

  1. From the main screen, tap Video Recording (located before the audio record button).
  2. Allow camera access when prompted (first time only).
  3. Tap the record button. A timer appears to show that recording is in progress.
  4. Tap Stop when you're finished.
  5. Find your video in the Library, alongside your audio recordings.

Livestreaming

  1. From the main screen, tap Livestreaming (located after the audio record button).
  2. Connect to Twitch, YouTube, or a custom RTMP server.
  3. Tap Go Live to start streaming.
